Animal origin
Sensitive to heat and agitation. Fold, air, wash gently, and dry flat to protect shape.
Plant origin
Resilient everyday fibres, but always avoid storing them damp or tightly compressed.
Technical
Cool washing, gentle stain treatment, and low heat help preserve older jerseys and track pieces.
Use cold or lukewarm water unless the garment label says otherwise. Heat can shrink, fade, or stress older fibres.
Do not wring. Roll in a clean towel, then lay flat or hang carefully away from direct sunlight.
Section 03 / 03
Fold heavier knits to prevent shoulder stretching and hanger marks.
Keep pieces away from damp corners, direct sun, and heavy compression.
Give vintage pieces room to air between wears and before long-term storage.
